Telling Claude every time "I'm an analyst, we count in thousands of tenge, answer as a table" takes time. You can say it once. This lesson covers three ways for Claude to remember you: instructions, memory and search across past chats. And how to remove what it remembered wrongly.
Хороший ассистент держит три вещи. Памятку от вас: «кофе без сахара, отчёты — в пятницу». Свой блокнот: что заметил сам («по вторникам вы на складе»). Архив переписки: найдёт письмо трёхмесячной давности. У Claude то же самое:
A good assistant keeps three things. Your memo: "coffee without sugar, reports on Friday". Their own notebook: what they noticed ("on Tuesdays you're at the warehouse"). The mail archive: they'll find a letter from three months ago. Claude has the same:

Я экономист отдела финансов производителя напитков (соки, вода, газировка). Деньги считаем в тысячах тенге, объёмы — в тысячах литров. Не переводи в миллионы. Отвечай по-русски, коротко: сначала вывод в 1–2 строки, потом таблица. Цифры не придумывай: если данных нет — так и скажи и спроси меня. Расчёты делай по файлу, а не в уме, и показывай итог для сверки.
I am a finance analyst at a beverage maker (juice, water, soft drinks). Money is in thousands of tenge, volumes in thousands of litres. Don't convert to millions. Answer briefly: first a 1–2 line conclusion, then a table. Don't make up numbers: if data is missing, say so and ask me. Calculate from the file, not in your head, and show the total so I can reconcile.

Instructions apply to all your chats. For one topic (say, "the team's budget rules") a project with its own instructions is better — lesson 15-17. Tone and format for a specific task can be fixed with a skill — lesson 15-23. Menu names may differ in your version of the app.

У каждого проекта своя память. В проекте Claude помнит этот проект и ваши общие чаты, но не другие проекты.
Each project has its own memory. In a project Claude remembers that project and your general chats, but not other projects.
Чувствительные темы (здоровье, религия, политика) — только если вы сами разрешили. Номера документов и банковских счетов — никогда.
Sensitive topics (health, religion, politics) — only if you allow it. ID and bank account numbers — never.
Просто напишите: «Найди наш разговор про претензию поставщику бутылок в сентябре и продолжи письмо». Claude поищет сам — вы увидите это в ответе как отдельный шаг.
Just write: "Find our conversation about the claim to the bottle supplier in September and continue the letter." Claude searches by itself — you'll see it as a separate step in the answer.
